DPGM Gary Allen, WM Alan Theobald and Installing Master Martin Day
Walpole Mark was graced with the presence of DPGM Gary Allen for their Installation meeting. After three years as WM, Martin Day finally handed over to his successor Alan Theobald in a fine Installation ceremony. Due to unexpected late call-offs, Alan couldn’t invest many of his Officers, but with the help of Provincial DC Mark Cook, the meeting ran very smoothly. A fine Festive Board followed and the brethren look forward to the next meeting in May, when the Advancee will be the son of one of our members.
Subsequent to the meeting and following the appeal from the PGM, the lodge has agreed to donate £100 to the Mark Emergency Relief Fund, via the East Anglian Mark Benevolent Association, to help those affected by the devastating earthquake in Turley and Syria.
