Barnard Mark in Wymondham witnessed a very special occasion when W.Bro. Chris Utting celebrated 50 years since his Advancement in to the Lodge on 3rd.October 1974 – fifty years to the day!
Chris was presented with his certificate for this East Anglian milestone event by our Deputy PGM VW.Bro Gary Allen, as the PGM was unable to attend.
W.Bro. Chris kept the Lodge entertained with his stories during a Q & A session with the Deputy.
Worshipful Master Harilal Kalaria delivered an excellent demonstration of the Ceremony of Advancement, and must be congratulated on the manner in which he completed the ceremony, including the Obligation, Working Tools and Warrant unaided. All of the other members were faultless in their duties, with an enjoyable evening being had by all, including many visiting Active Provincial Grand Officers.
An excellent Festive Board concluded a very special evening.
