Philanthropic Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners was Consecrated on 23rd May 1923, and celebrated its Centenary after one hundred years (and a few months!) at King’s Lynn.
The well attended celebratory meeting, with a Provincial Visit adding to the numbers, included the presentation of the Centenary Warrant to Worshipful Commander David Lucas, plus an interesting history of the lodge, researched and presented by Scribe Danny Cracknell. Over the century, there were lodge ups and downs, but the meeting included two Grand Lodge Certificates, new members proposed and support from it’s mooring at Philanthropic Mark, which is 23 years older and still going strong.
