I was pleased to be able to present a cheque for £1.000 to “Headway” at their Ipswich unit. Headway is a charity that helps individuals who have acquired a head injury to regain as much of their old self as possible and to work with them to access the best possible rehabilitation process.
The unit which houses Headway has a number of rooms with various activities in each as well as dedicated staff to work through the programmes devised for each person which builds confidence, re-establish life skills and raise expectations.
The EAMBA donation is going towards a wheelchair accessible static bike which will enable the users to build up mobility and strength.
The CEO Helen Fairweather accepted the donation and wished her thanks be recorded to all Mark Mason in the Province for their generosity.
