Barnard Mark who meet at Wymondham, upped their membership by three at their meeting this week, with a Joining Member plus a double Advancement, well performed by Worshipful Master Ochuko Emore and his Officers – all of whom were in attendance (apart from the Organist), with no stand-in’s required.
The ceremony was correctly split, with Advancees John Williams and Michael Stephenson taking their Obligations together, but each receiving the wrath of the Overseers and successfully finding the stone separately. Welcome to John and Michael, who are very good friends and come as a pair. Also to Joining member Michael Wright, with all three looking to make a contribution to the lodge and enjoying their Mark Masonry.
It was also a Double Provincial Warden evening, with Nigel Hood and Ray Russell enjoying a night out. With Nigel being the lodge DC, Ray presented the John and Michael with their welcome packs and axe lapel pins and organised Provincial ties for them.
A very enjoyable Festive Board followed, roast pork again but at least only one of my three meetings this week.
